Library Notes for September 14, 2016

On Saturday, September 17, 2016, will be the 229th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution of the United States of America. Stop by to see the Constitution display by the James Thomas Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. We also have a display of books to go along with the display that can be checked out, so you may learn more about the Constitution.

“Pam’s Pick” this week is a bit of a mystery. “The Charmers” by Elizabeth Adler, this is the story of Mirabella. Mirabella’s Aunt Jolly dies unexpectedly and very mysteriously and she inherited her villa in the South of France. On the way to the villa she is ran off the road by a motorcycle and soon discovers that the danger is only beginning. Is someone out to kill her too? And if so, why?

New Fiction: “The Jealous Kind” by James Lee Burke, “Sting” by Sandra Brown, this book is also in large print, “The Kind Folk” by Ramsey Campbell, “The Commodore” by P. T. Deutermann, “The Daredevil Snared” by Stephanie Laurens, this is the third book in the Adventurers Quartet series, and “Damaged” by Lisa Scottoline.

New Christian Fiction: “The Wedding Shop” by Rachel Hauck, and “The Artisan’s Wife” by Judith Miller this is book three in the Refined by Love series.
