Happy Valentine’s Day! If you love books and love to read we are the place for you! I guarantee you will fall in love with a good book!

Pam’s Pick this week is: “Luckiest Girl Alive” by Jessica Knoll, this is the story of a young woman striving to create the perfect life, perfect husband, perfect home, and perfect career. Until a violent incident from her past threatens to unravel everything and expose her most shocking secret of all.

New Fiction: “The Deceivers” by Alex Berenson this is the 12th book in the John Wells series, “The Voice Inside” by Brian Freeman, “The Great Alone” by Kristin Hannah, “Child of a Mad God” by R.A. Salvatore, this is the first book in the Coven series, “The Perfect Nanny” by Leila Slimani, and “Fall From Grace” by Danielle Steel.

New Christian Fiction: “String of Pearls” by Melody Carlson this is the third book in the Mulligan Sisters series, and “Hearts Entwined: a Historical Romance Novella Collection.”

New Mystery: “Fatal Frost” by Karen MacInerney, this is the second book in the Dewberry Farm series.

New Biographies: “Playing the Game Without a Coach: How Courage, Resilience & Forgiveness Helped One Man Seize the American Dream” by Benjamin Raymond, and “Prairie Fires: the American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder” by Caroline Fraser.

New TV Season: “When Call the Heart” season 4.

The library will be closed Monday, February 19 for Presidents Day.

Book Signing: Dr. Gregory P. Stallworth, author, motivational speaker, leadership coach and pastor will be here February 17th in the upstairs meeting room from 9:30-11:30. His new book “The Power in You!” is a ministry resource about personal development for everyone. This book is based on Ephesians 3:20, and will help you learn how the power of positive thinking and action can truly effect you as a person.
